Tuna contains large amount of essential amino acids for cats such as DHA and EPA. DHA and EPA are essential nutrients for the neurons in the brain, assisting in improving the cat’s learning and memory. Vitamin A and taurine are useful in protecting a cat’s eyes, especially the tapetum, protecting their nocturnal vision capabilities.

But since the phosphorus and calcium present in chicken livers is inverted, and thus is not suitable for the absorption of calcium, and so if there be powdered chicken eggshells added to the mixture, the balance could be restored.
